According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are in talks with West Ham over the signing of Italy international Gianluca Scamacca, who can leave the Hammers on loan.

Scamacca is a long-time target of the Rossoneri who already tried to purchase him from Sassuolo last summer before a €36m transfer to West Ham.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, who has known Scamacca since his time in Roma‘s youth sector, have already opened talks with West Ham.

The Hammers are reportedly eager to loan out Scamacca in 2023-24 and are already looking for a new centre forward to replace the Italian. Negotiations are only at a preliminary stage, but according to the report, Milan are keen on Scamacca’s signature on loan with an option or an obligation to buy.

Alvaro Morata and Noah Okafor are also on Diavoli’s agenda, but Scamacca appears to be Milan’s priority target to strengthen their attack in 2023-24.
