Milan have reportedly proposed Divock Origi to West Ham United as part of their approach for Gianluca Scamacca, who is also wanted by Roma.

The Italian striker has not settled in with the Hammers since his €36m plus €6m in bonuses move to London from Sassuolo just over a year ago.

He is pushing for a return to Serie A and would be happy with Roma or Milan, but both clubs are only prepared to do a deal on loan with option to buy.

According to Sky Sport Italia, West Ham are still refusing to accept that, so the Rossoneri have come up with another plan to sweeten the financial package.

This would mean handing former Liverpool striker Origi to the Premier League side on a permanent basis.

Milan signed Origi as a free agent last summer and he had a dismal debut season in Serie A, managing just two goals and an assist in 36 competitive games.

The 28-year-old Belgium international was injured for much of the campaign and disappointing when he did get on the field.
