The Bianconeri sporting director Pierpaolo Marino admitted ‘many clubs’ are interested in their captain but didn’t want to answer questions about his future until the season is over.
The newspaper, however, claims Milan have already made their first move in an attempt to convince Udinese of letting the player go when the transfer market re-opens.
But in Udine, they value the player at no less than €40m, meaning that Milan will have to come up with a different solution.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals Hauge, who arrived from Bodo/Glimt last year, could be offered as part of the deal, plus an adjusted price in cash.
Milan signed the 21-year-old for a reported €5m last October and his current market value has increased to €10m, according to Transfermarkt.
