Fininvest have released a statement denying a further minority stake in Milan is up for sale.

There were rumours this morning that, following the investment of Bee Taechaubol which will be confirmed this month, another stake may be for sale.

“In some newspapers this morning, there were stories about negotiations for a minority stake in Milan,” holding company Fininvest acknowledged in a statement.

“These are totally baseless rumours.”

Fininvest, founded by Rossoneri President Silvio Berlusconi currently controls 99.3 per cent of the shares in the club.

Taechaubol, popularly known as Mr Bee, is expected to finalise a deal for 49 per cent of the shares this month, at a price of around €500m.
