Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to be included in Milan‘s starting XI against Bologna tomorrow, starting his first game in five months.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Stefano Pioli will likely pick the Swede as Milan’s sole striker in their away clash at the Stadio Dall’Ara tomorrow.

Ibrahimovic started his last game on May 5, in the Rossoneri’s 3-0 win over Juventus.

During that match, he collected a knee injury that forced him to miss the Euros and the opening games of the season.

The 40-year-old has three appearances in all competitions so far this campaign.

However, he’s always come off the bench as a substitute, scoring one goal against Lazio in a 2-0 win at San Siro.

Ibrahimovic played 32 minutes against Porto on Tuesday, replacing Olivier Giroud in the second half.

Milan coach Pioli will discuss whether or not Ibrahimovic will start against Bologna in today’s pre-match press conference, scheduled for 13.00 UK time.
