Milan defender Alessandro Florenzi trained with the rest of the team today, while Mike Maignan was named Player of The Month for April by AIC.
The Rossoneri are preparing for their upcoming Serie A clash against Hellas Verona at the Stadio Bentegodi on Sunday.
Stefano Pioli may have one more option at the back as Alessandro Florenzi returned to group training at Milanello today and took part in the training match. He will likely be included in the squad list for Sunday’s game in Verona.
Meantime, his teammate Mike Maignan has been named Player of the Month for April by AIC, the Italian Association of Football Players.
“He only made 11 saves in April, but four were worth as much as goals,” the official statement read.
Ciro Immobile (Lazio), Gerard Deulofeu (Udinese) and Marko Arnautovic (Bologna) were also mentioned among the best players of the last month but were not as good as the Milan goalkeeper.
