Milan reportedly lost the case against ex-director Zvonimir Boban, as the Milan Court ruled the Rossoneri must pay a €5.3m compensation to the Croatian.

Boban was sacked in March after a public spat with CEO Ivan Gazidis and La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Rossoneri are forced to pay a compensation fee to the former director.

Boban pointed the finger at CEO Ivan Gazidis in an interview with the newspaper and was later fired for ‘just cause’.

The former sporting director hit out at the club for not having warned him of an operation involving Ralf Rangnick as a new manager at the club, a deal that later fell through.

The newspaper reveals Boban won the lawsuit against Milan, who will have to compensate him for €5.3m.

But the case has not been settled just yet, as the Diavolo will reportedly appeal the decision.
