Galliani now will have to find another team for El Sharaawy very quickly, or else watch him wane on the Monaco bench until the summer: his current club would not let him play another minute as that would activate the compulsory purchase clause.
There are a number of clubs that are reportedly interested in the player, starting from Juventus, who may have to replace Simone Zaza in case of the latter's departure.
Roma, Fiorentina and Genoa are also believed to have a liking for El Sharaawy, but the player's erratic conditions of form make him difficult to sell at profitable conditions.
