Milan met with Cagliari directors and agents to discuss Romanian midfielder Razvan Marin today.
According to Calciomercato.com, MilanNews.it, Tuttomercatoweb and more, the encounter took place in a hotel in Milan this afternoon.
It included Rossoneri directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara with Cagliari representatives.
There had already been suggestions over the last few days that Marin had been proposed to Milan, with agent Pietro Chiodi spotted at the club HQ yesterday, and it seems as if those negotiations are intensifying.
The 25-year-old Romania international joined Cagliari last year on loan from Ajax with €10m obligation to buy.
Ajax will also receive a cut of his future transfer fee.
Marin made 39 competitive appearances for Cagliari this term, contributing three goals and six assists.
