Milan met with the representatives of Brest midfielder Romain Faivre today, after his potential move to Borussia Monchengladbach stalled.
The news was first reported by Footmercato, then confirmed by Radio Rossonera, who published video of the agents at Casa Milan headquarters this evening.
Faivre just turned 23 last month and plays primarily on the left side of midfield, but can also work on the right or in a more central, creative role.
With eight caps for France at Under-21 level, he joined Stade Brest 29 from AS Monaco’s academy in 2020 for just €400,000.
Faivre had been on the verge of completing a transfer to German side Borussia Monchengladbach, but the negotiations never made it to the final stages.
Instead, Milan have intercepted with their own proposal.
He scored six goals and provided five assists in 36 Ligue 1 appearances.

This is getting ridiculous now. What are all these random names?
@Milan Fan well Milan searching for unknown young talent, not some established players for sure. Do you think Milan can afford to buy some superstars with their current economic conditions? They can’t even get the likes of Vlasic.
