According to Gazzetta dello Sport though, the Diavolo may not be able to turn to Mihajlovic in any case, as he appears to be moving closer to Napoli.
The newspaper believes that the former full-back is concerned about the ability of the Milan squad, as well as being put off by the continued confusion over the club’s ownership going forward.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has apparently made Mihajlovic his top candidate to replace Rafa Benitez at San Paolo this summer, and the Coach would prefer that option if he’s to leave Sampdoria.
