The Rossoneri have been in talks with Barca over a proposed deal for Todibo for weeks, but the defender has been dithering, as apparently he isn’t enthusiastic about the idea of joining the Diavolo.
The defender reportedly wanted a buyback clause inserted into any potential deal, and he now has also been included in the Barca squad for their trip to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup.
La Gazzetta dello Sport now report that Milan are quickly losing patience with the Frenchman, and are looking at other alternatives.
The Milan daily states that the club are now looking at Chelsea’s Christensen.
The 23-year-old has only appeared eight times this season under Frank Lampard in the Premier League, and could prove a cheaper option than Todibo.
Christensen can play as a central defender or at right-back.
Another option may be Sevilla defender Simon Kjaer. The Denmark international is on loan at Atalanta, but is reportedly seeking to leave the club due to limited playing time.
