Milan coach Paulo Fonseca will be able to rely on an almost full squad for his side’s home clash against Udinese, as all the players in doubt following the international break have fully recovered.

The Rossoneri are urged to bounce back after their 2-1 defeat at Fiorentina and the Portuguese manager will be full of options to pick his best starting line-up to face an in-form Bianconeri side, who picked up 13 points in their opening seven Serie A games.

Milan team’s update ahead of Udinese clash: Loftus-Cheek and Chukuweze return from injury

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has recovered from a muscular issue that kept him out during Milan’s last game, meaning he will be fully available for the Stadio San Siro’s fixture on Saturday, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Milannews.

After picking up an injury with Nigeria during the international break, Samuel Chukuweze did part of the training session with the rest of the squad and will also be at Fonseca’s disposal after medical tests ruled out further problems.

Long-term injured Ismael Bennacer, Alessandro Florenzi and Marco Sportiello are therefore the only players ruled out, with Theo Hernandez also missing Milan’s next game after receiving a red card against Fiorentina that cost him a two-match ban.

The Rossoneri coach is also expected to make a decision on whether to keep Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham out of the starting line-up after their behaviour damaged the team during their last game.
