Emil Roback, a 20-year-old striker under contract with Milan and currently on loan at Ifk Norrköping, has gone missing and hasn’t replied to calls from his family or club directors for two weeks.

Roback joined Milan in August 2020 from Hammarby, a Swedish club co-owned by former Rossoneri striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He returned to his home country, Sweden, this past March, joining Ifk Norrköping on loan until November 30, 2023.

As reported by Corriere della Sera and Tuttosport, Ifk Norrköping director Tony Martinsson is worried as he hasn’t heard from Roback in the last two weeks.

“I want to know if he’s okay, it’s worrying that we can’t keep in touch with him,” Martinsson reportedly told local TVs in Sweden.

“I don’t know what else we can do. I want him to come here to find a solution that works for everyone. I haven’t given up hope of him returning, but it’s hard to understand as we haven’t seen him in 14 days.”

Roback scored eight goals in 45 appearances with Milan’s Primavera team and made his senior debut in 2022, coming off the bench in the final minutes of a Coppa Italia game against Genoa at San Siro.

According to Italian media, Roback hasn’t replied to calls from club directors and family members for the last two weeks. His contract with Milan expires in June 2025.
