Milan have agreed to send talented striker Lorenzo Colombo to Empoli on a loan deal with a buy option attached and the final details are now being resolved.

The 22-year-old Italian striker had the opportunity to prove himself during the Rossoneri’s on-going pre-season tour in the United States, scoring twice against Manchester City in a friendly to show off his skills.

Colombo is a product on Milan’s youth system but has failed to break into the first team, spending time out on loan with Cremonese, SPAL, Lecce and Monza over the last three years. He is contracted to the Rossoneri to June 2028.
