Saponara, interviewed by the same outlet, could not help but to confess a liking for Milan's youth project, but admits he is unsure about his future.

“I can't deny that I'd have liked to be part of it,” he told Sportmediaset. “But I don't know what could happen a few months from now.

“Perhaps I'll need another year of development. I'll have to consider carefully how far I've come on my path and what the best options may be for my future.”
