Milan are looking ahead to the January transfer window and are planning out a move for Lille striker Jonathan David, reports detail.

The Rossoneri were incredibly active in the summer transfer window, signing a long list of players including Tijjani Reijnders, Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The club kept it late to sign a striker and after failing to pick up Mehdi Taremi, they completed a last-minute move for Luka Jovic.

Milan want to sign a new left back in January to give some cover to Theo Hernandez, highlighting Real Betis’ Juan Miranda as a strong option, and they also want to secure a deal for a striker.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani is hoping to take advantage of the strong relationship with Lille to close out a deal for David, whose contract expires with the French club in June 2025.

The 23-year-old Canadian striker is strongly interested in making the move to the Rossoneri, despite the interest of various teams across Europe.
