Milan join Juventus and Tottenham in Zaniolo chase

Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Nicolò Zaniolo, but it’s now reported Milan have made an approach for the Roma talent.

His contract with the Giallorossi runs to June 2024 and negotiations for an extension have hit some problems.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday, general manager Tiago Pinto stirred up controversy and speculation when declaring he could “not guarantee” Zaniolo will still be at the Stadio Olimpico next season.

According to multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia and the Corriere dello Sport, Juventus and Tottenham are the primary candidates for the attacking midfielder should he be placed on the market over the summer.

Now Sportitalia suggest Milan have made an approach towards his entourage to make it be known they too are interested and could prepare an offer in the near future.

The 22-year-old has two goals in eight senior caps for Italy, but it would’ve been far more if not for two serious knee ligament injuries.

So far this season, Zaniolo has contributed four goals and five assists in 26 official matches for Roma.
