According to Sportitalia, Milan have joined the list of clubs vying for Erling Braut Haaland and offered the RB Salzburg striker €5.5m per season.

The 19-year-old is available for just €30m, including agent’s commission, and his release clause can be activated in the January transfer window.

While there are proposals from Juventus, Manchester United, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Nice, among others, money is not going to be the main issue.

Haaland wants regular playing time to continue his development and Milan could certainly offer that.

It had been reported Juve were proposing €3m per season plus bonuses, but the Rossoneri would dwarf that with €5.5m in wages.

There have been rumours elsewhere that Haaland is after €8m per year.

The son of former Leeds United striker Alf-Inge Haaland has scored an incredible 28 goals in 22 competitive matches this season, including eight in six Champions League games.
