Milan have reportedly set their sights on Rosario talent Alejo Veliz and could meet with his agent in the coming days.

The Rossoneri have already been active in the summer transfer window, completing six signings so far – Marco Sportiello, Luka Romero, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Tijjani Reijnders, Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor.

Milan are now working on finalising a deal for Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze and they’ve been given a boost by the FIGC’s decision to consider British players as EU citizens, giving them an extra non-EU player slot to work with.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan have been following Veliz and believe the Rosario forward could be a good addition to the squad. His agent is currently in the Lombardy capital and could meet with the club in the coming days to start discussing a possible transfer.

The 19-year-old Argentinian forward has scored 11 goals in 22 Liga Profesional appearances this season, including one against Boca Juniors and two against River Plate.
