Milan and Inter directors are in Monaco tonight, as the race for Geoffrey Kondogbia reaches fever pitch.

The two city rivals are battling for the signature of 22-year-old Monaco midfielder Kondogbia, although there is also interest from Tottenham and Arsenal.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan CEO Adriano Galliani is in Monte Carlo for final negotiations tonight, while Inter director of sport Piero Ausilio is en route.

The Rossoneri had seemed to get the upper hand, but this afternoon it was reported that Coach Roberto Mancini had personally called the player to convince him of the Inter project.

Catching wind of this, Galliani rushed back to Monte Carlo for further face to face negotiations with Monaco directors and anticipate Ausilio’s arrival.

Monaco have stated they want at least €35m for Kondogbia.
