Whilst Vice-President Adriano Galliani's first choice is seen as Jackson Martinez, the Porto player’s valuation of €35m sees Roma’s Destro as a potential alternative, even when rated himself at approximately €20m.

However, Destro is also the first choice for Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio, especially in case Mauro Icardi should depart the team.

Should Roma not be willing to sell the player in January, Tuttosport consider that the contest may be deferred to the summer.
