Milan are continuing negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur for Serge Aurier, but face competition from Bayer Leverkusen as well as the €20m asking price.

According to multiple sources including Sky Sports UK and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Aurier is their first choice right-back.

The 27-year-old Ivorian cost €25m to sign from PSG in the summer of 2017, but never quite delivered on that promise.

Latest reports suggest Bayer Leverkusen are also interested in Aurier and provide another problem in what has already been a tricky negotiation.

Spurs want at least €20m for the right-back, who is under contract until June 2022, but the Milan offer so far is at most €15m.

Aurier made 42 competitive appearances for Tottenham in the 2019-20 season, contributing two goals and eight assists.

Milan are seeking a new player for the right side of defence, as Davide Calabria is on the market.
