Milan started preparations for their upcoming match against Hellas Verona and it’s clear that injured trio Mike Maignan, Charles De Ketelaere and Simon Kjaer will not take part.

The Rossoneri were given a day of rest by Stefano Pioli yesterday following their tough Champions League loss to Chelsea in the mid-week game, and now they’re keen to get ready for their next match against the Gialloblu on Sunday evening.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Maignan, De Ketelaere and Kjaer all trained individually today as Milan don’t want to rush their recoveries. The trio are hoping to be fit for the Serie A clash with Monza next weekend, giving them time to build some match fitness ahead of a key Champions League match against Dinamo Zagreb.

For Maignan, more than 30 days will’ve passed since he was taken off the Champions League squad list, allowing him to be reinstated for the Zagreb clash following his recovery.
