Milan are continuing to look around for free agents and reportedly contacted outgoing Wolves winger Adama Traore.

The Rossoneri, under the market guidance of chief scout Geoffrey Moncada, have already been hard at work in the transfer market, agreeing a deal with free agent Daichi Kamada and preparing to sell Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United for around €80m.

Milan regressed this season following their Scudetto success but they’re looking to pick up the right reinforcements this summer to help them return to the top. The decision to sack technical director Paolo Maldini earlier this month has altered their plans a little, however.

As detailed by Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan opened talks with Traore’s agent Jorge Medes today to start sounding out a possible move for the 27-year-old, whose contract is only days away from expiring with Wolves.

Stefano Pioli has already signed off on the move, believing him a good fit for the squad in the Lombardy capital. Roma are also interested in the Spaniard, but the ball is reportedly in Milan’s court.

  1. Gotta stick to the free transfers so we can cash out the entire $80 mill as profit to shareholders AKA invest in baseball and formula 1 teams.

    Makes sense…

  2. More epl garbage arriving in Serie A if this guy arrives.
Some Italian clubs can be so lazy in the market. The likes of Porto and Benfica do it right with little money.
