Milan are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Real Madrid over a new Brahim Diaz loan, but Álvaro Odriozola is also on the Rossoneri’s radars.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Milan are in talks with Real Madrid to sign both players.

The Spanish attacking midfielder played at the Stadio San Siro on loan in 2020-21 and managed seven goals and four assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.

However, the Rossoneri did not have an option to make the player’s move permanent and are now trying to extend Brahim’s temporary stay,  adding an option to sign him permanently in the summer of 2022.

The option to buy is expected to be in the region of €20-25m and Paolo Maldini hopes to wrap up a deal given his good relationships with Real Madrid’s executives and the Merengues’ coach Carlo Ancelotti.

However, Brahim is not the only Real Madrid player on Milan’s sights as the Rossoneri have also opened talks to sign Álvaro Odriozola who has just 16 appearances to his name in 2020-21.

Reports in Spain had already linked with the Spanish defender with a move to Milan earlier this month.
