A statement was released this afternoon noting that Ibrahimovic does not require surgery and will undergo “conservative treatment for six weeks.”

The Sky Sport Italia report had suggested the issue could be resolved within three weeks, which would’ve allowed Ibra to be ready for Euro 2020 from June 11.

It remains to be seen if the treatment is required to continue as a precaution and he will still be allowed to play after three weeks, or if he is ruled out of Sweden’s squad for the European Championship.
