Milan are hoping to have Ante Rebic available for the match against Bologna on Saturday and coach Stefano Pioli will reportedly get the verdict within the next two days.

The Croatia international worked separately yesterday, but was back on the pitch, which is good news for the Rossoneri.

Rebic missed the 1-0 defeat to FC Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday, as he is currently recovering from an ankle injury.

The 28-year-old has scored twice in 10 games across all competitions this term, contributing two assists in the process.

Tuttosport writes Pioli will get the verdict on training today and tomorrow, eager to know if the former Eintracht Frankfurt attacker will be available for this weekend’s match at the Renato Dall’Ara.

Milan are without points after three games in the Champions League, but sit second in Serie A, unbeaten in the first eight games.

Rebic has been a key member of the Rossoneri squad this term, as Pioli’s men have only dropped points in the draw with Juventus on September 19.
