Milan hit snag in chase of Chelsea’s Broja

Milan are seriously interested in picking up Chelsea forward Armando Broja but they’ve hit a snag in their chase of the Albanian, reports detail.

The 21-year-old striker has only been given limited chances at the Blues this season, making just two Premier League starts, and he seems like he’d be the perfect fit for Stefano Pioli’s young and exciting project in the Lombardy capital.

Milan have been in contacts with Broja’s entourage for a number of weeks, sounding out a possible January move, but a roadblock has appeared on the horizon.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Chelsea have made it clear to Milan that they won’t consider selling Broja until the end of the season, ruling out a possible deal in January.

The Albanian forward recently penned a new deal with the Blues, tying him to the club until 2028, so they’d only consider a temporary departure in January, something the Rossoneri aren’t interested in.

Although Milan are still keen on a move, they’ll likely find it impossible to bypass this roadblock, forcing them to search elsewhere for their winter reinforcement.
