Milan midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura admits “what we’ve done so far isn’t enough” after 20 points from 13 games.

The Rossoneri were expected to return to the Scudetto race this season, having invested heavily in the summer, but currently trail leaders Inter by 10 points.

“We players are all aware that what we’ve done so far isn’t enough,” Bonaventura admitted in an interview with Sky.

“We must do more. We have to take as many points as possible before the Christmas break.

“A change to 4-4-2? The boss [Sinisa Mihajlovic] will decide. We just have to think about doing well on the pitch.

“The tactical aspects are down to the Coach, we’re behind the Coach.”

The Diavolo were defeated 2-1 by Juventus on Saturday, and Bonaventura also discussed that match.

“We played a shrewd game, maybe a little too much, because we should have done better in attack, been a little bit more ruthless and press Juve more.

“Our line was a little low and we suffered. It’s a defeat that hurts us, but it should give us the right strength to better face the next games.”
