Milan have made up their mind regarding the future of youth product Tommaso Pobega, who is impressing on loan with Torino this season.
The 22-year-old Italian midfielder is a key part of Ivan Juric’s Granata squad, providing an important balance with his defensive contributions. He can also play in a more advanced role, making him a tactically flexible option who has been proving his worth this season.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Torino are doing everything they can to keep Pobega but Milan have a clear plan in mind; the Rossoneri will bring him back to Lombardy in the summer, where he’ll be inserted into Stefano Pioli’s first team.
The 22-year-old is a useful inclusion to the squad, also because he’s a youth product which helps with UEFA and Serie A squad registration.
Whilst it’s unlikely that he’ll be a starter for Pioli next season, Pobega is set to be given his chance on the big stage, ready to make his first team debut for Milan.

i would rather him over Bakayoko and Krunic, hope he stays at milan and hope he gets minuites, there is a very good player there, stop wasting them
It would be a shame not to give him the chance he deserves, though the capital gain from his potential sell might tempt the management. We should cut Bakayoko loose and replace him with Pobega in the squad for next season.
i would like to see how a Tonali Pobega partnership would look, has potential to work but needs to be tried out at least

Diaz has been nothing but a disappointment and Milan should let him return to Madrid and with Kessie likely to leave , I really do see Pobega playing behind the main striker, he can contribute defensively and has goals in him- . Would be interesting to see Tonali, Bennacer and Pobega , if it works Milan could have a long term midfled combo..would also help the Italian national team greatly..
He will get Bakayoko’s minutes as 4th choice CM, good luck to him. Hopefully he actually lasts in the side though.
With Kessie gone, makes sense to bring him back and actually use him. Not sure if Milan are still un the market for a CM and with Adli coming in the competition will be tight. Either way we need to offload our dead weight. Pobega is the future of La Nazionale and needs to be used alongside Tonali.
