It was a convincing victory for Pippo Inzaghi’s team, with the Coach naming a strong looking side against the lower League outfit.
Sulley Muntari opened the scoring for the Rossoneri after five minutes, getting on the end of Daniele Bonera’s cross in from the right.
The San Siro outfit doubled their lead just over 20 minutes later through Keisuke Honda following good play on the left by Jeremy Menez, and that is the way it stayed until half time.
Inzaghi changed his entire line-up during the break, but it took barely a minute for youngster M’Baye Niang to add his name to the score sheet.
Pro Piacenza then pulled a goal back before Giampaolo Pazzini and Stephan El Shaarawy rounded off a good afternoon’s work for the Rossoneri.
