Milan are interested in signing Isco and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 29-year-old can leave Real Madrid for €20m.

Isco’s contract with Los Blancos expires in June 2022 and the pink paper reports Carlo Ancelotti could give the green light to his sale.

The Spaniard ended the 2020-21 campaign without scoring goals, which is one reason why his price tag has dramatically decreased over the last year.

With his contract expiring in June 2022, Milan can’t sign the player on loan with an option to buy, but the Rossoneri are on good terms with Real Madrid directors and Ancelotti himself, so the Serie A giants hope to sign Isco under favourable conditions.

Paolo Maldini and Riky Massara admire the 29-year-old who has scored 51 goals in 336 appearances with the La Liga giants.

Milan are also close to securing the services of Brahim Diaz from the Merengues.

Diaz will return to Milan on loan with a €22m option to buy. The deal comes with an option in favour of Real Madrid, who can re-sign the player for €27m.

Theo Hernandez swapped Real Madrid with the Rossoneri in a €21m move in 2019.
