There are reports that negotiations have broken down and Milan are not going to sign Dario Osorio from Universidad de Chile.

The disappointments keep coming for the Rossoneri fans after a run of dismal results in Serie A, the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.

They had been in talks to pick up Chilean winger Osorio, who just turned 19 this week, with competition from Premier League side Aston Villa.

Milan had tried to offer €5m plus a massive 25 per cent of the sell-on fee, but Universidad de Chile are demanding at least €10m in cash.

Now Sky Sport Italia confirm Milan have given up on this option, although Calciomercato.com believe the Rossoneri have until tomorrow to increase the bid.

It is going to have to be a big increase, though, and seems improbable.

They had hoped to sign a promising young talent who plays on the right side of the attack and made his mark at the Under-20 World Cup for Chile.

Osorio is so impressive that he has already received three senior caps for his country.

Another Milan target, Hakim Ziyech, is now in advanced negotiations for a loan move from Chelsea to PSG.
