Milan have reportedly given Hakan Calhanoglu until June 30 to reply to the contract offer from the Rossoneri.
The Turkey international is currently preparing for the last match in Group A against Switzerland today, but his future beyond this summer is not resolved.
Milan have made an offer to renew the attacking midfielder’s deal at San Siro, but the 27-year-old has not given an answer.
The former Bayer Leverkusen player contributed 10 assists and four goals when Milan finished second in Serie A 2020-21 and has been pushing for a lucrative new deal with the Rossoneri.
But the Diavolo have reportedly offered him a €4m deal to stay at Milanello and SportMediaset claims the club has set a deadline on June 30 to respond to their offer.
Calhanoglu has revealed he is willing to move elsewhere, should a ‘great offer arrive’.
Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was in a similar situation, has already decided to leave the club.
