Milan seem to have found the formula to sign Alessandro Florenzi from Roma, on loan with option to buy for a total €5m.
According to Sky Sport Italia, today’s negotiations managed to get the two clubs on the same page and it should be finalised over the next couple of days.
The Giallorossi had been trying to make this an obligation to buy rather than an option.
Instead, it’s reported the Rossoneri got their way, paying €1m for the one-season loan with an option to buy at the end of the season for a further €3.5-4m.
Agent Alessandro Lucci has been working on the details with both clubs all day and hopes to clinch a deal tomorrow.
Florenzi returned to Roma after loans at Valencia and Paris Saint-Germain, but is not part of new coach Jose Mourinho’s plans.
He can play as a right-back, a left-back, a midfielder or a wide attacking player and was part of the Italy squad that won UEFA EURO 2020 this summer.
