Milan have long had their eye on Abdou Diallo and now they’re reportedly preparing to open a new round of talks with Paris Saint-Germain in a bid to agree a deal.

The Rossoneri are still looking to add a new defender to Stefano Pioli’s squad before the end of this month’s transfer window, and the 26-year-old Senegalese centre back appears to be at the top of their list. Milan were interested in Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga but despite multiple rounds of negotiations, they couldn’t agree a formula for the deal.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan will make another approach to PSG at some point soon in an attempt to find a deal for Diallo. The Rossoneri’s hope is to secure the player on a loan deal with a buy option attached.

The Ligue 1 giants have transfer listed the 26-year-old and are ready to re-home him this summer, so an approach from the Rossoneri will be welcome.
