New owners Sino Europe are redesigning the board of directors and the staff members within the Rossoneri, looking to build an entire new team almost from scratch.

As they plan to appoint a new director general, a new sporting director and a new team manager, they will also need a familiar and beloved figurehead to act as the club's ambassador.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, they have identified Milan legend Paolo Maldini as the ideal candidate for that position.

At the same time, joint-CEO Adriano Galliani is expected to leave in mid-September after 30 years with the club.

Tuttosport claims that the odds of seeing the 72-year-old with another football club are very slim, and that he is much more likely to pursue a role within the Lega Serie A.

It is conceivable that Galliani may present himself as a candidate in the next elections for the Lega's presidency, againt the incumbent Maurizio Beretta. Alternatively, he may keep working in Berlusconi's holding company Fininvest.
