According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the meeting with the intermediary did not go well and Milan are further away from a deal for FC Porto striker Medhi Taremi.

The clubs had seemingly agreed terms with suddenly the entire deal came crashing to a halt amid reports his entourage had changed the terms.

There are a few different reports in Italy and Portugal blaming various elements for the breakdown of talks.

The Rossoneri refused to give in and had a meeting at their headquarters this afternoon with intermediary Daria Bahrami.

Initial reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport maintain the summit did not go the way they had hoped.

The issues were never with Bahrami, but rather the intermediaries brought in later in the day by FC Porto.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri did seem to be clearing space for Taremi, because they have left striker Lorenzo Colombo out of the squad for tomorrow’s Serie A match against Roma.

That is because he is expected to join Monza on loan until the end of the season.

However, if Taremi or another centre-forward does not arrive, then Colombo will be brought back to San Siro.
