Milan directors flew to England today for a three-hour meeting with Manchester City over Carlos Tevez, but the Rossoneri won’t budge from their free loan request.
City have already rejected the proposed free loan spell with a buy-out clause worth around €25m at the end of the season, insisting they will only release the Argentine for an outright sale.

It is widely reported in the Italian media that directors Ariedo Braida and Lorenzo Cantamessa were in Britain this afternoon for a meeting with City director Brian Marwood, Tevez’s agent Kia Joorabchian and intermediary Giuseppe Riso.
Vice-President Adriano Galliani was also taking part in the negotiations via telephone.
It’s believed they discussed the move, but Braida and Cantamessa will return to Italy this evening, pending a new meeting after Christmas.
“Nobody is denying he is a great player, but I don’t know why Manchester City are so eager to be rid of him,” ex-Milan legend Cesare Maldini told TMW.
“I doubt any one player can win a title for his team, but Tevez is certainly a champion and it is necessary to replace Antonio Cassano.”
Meanwhile, there are reports in France Football that Paris Saint-Germain are dropping their own bid to sign Tevez, as they are targeting Porto striker Hulk instead.
