Junior Messias is on the verge of officially joining Milan after a convincing loan move from Crotone last summer.

The 31-year-old Brazilian forward joined the Rossoneri on loan last summer and managed to carve out a space for himself in Stefano Pioli’s squad, scoring five goals and providing two assists in 26 Serie A appearances. He was a contributing part of Milan’s Scudetto glory and now his dream move to the club is set to continue.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Messias is now at Milan’s headquarters to sign a three-year contract with the club. The Rossoneri have agreed to pay Crotone €4.5m plus add-ons, a fee lower than the €5.4m initially agreed.

The Brazilian forward, who has experience in every division from semi-professional Serie D upwards, also made an unforgettable debut in the Champions League, scoring the winner against Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid back in November. He also provided an assist in a 2-1 loss to Liverpool.
