José Mourinho is suspended for tonight’s meeting between Milan and Roma but was still booed by Rossoneri supporters when he appeared on the San Siro screen during the warmup.

Mourinho received a red card during Roma’s 1-1 draw against Atalanta last week, receiving a one-match ban which he is serving tonight in an away game against Milan.

Despite the suspension, Mourinho was still booed by Milan supporters who saw the Portuguese, a former Inter coach, appearing on one of the giant screens at the Stadio Meazza during the warmup.

Mourinho was following his players training from one of the main stands at the Stadio Meazza.

The Portuguese tactician won five trophies as an Inter coach, including a legendary treble in 2009-10. Mourinho has missed four games from nine at San Siro against Inter and Milan since his move to Roma in 2021.

He will return to the dugout next week when Roma host Hellas Verona at the Stadio Olimpico.

Football Italia is among the accredited media at San Siro tonight. You can follow live updates for Milan-Roma on the Football Italia LIVEBLOG.
