Milan are taking a stand with Santos on Kaio Jorge, refusing to raise their €6m offer, so Juventus are prepared to step in.

The 19-year-old is only under contract until December 2021, so will be a free agent in January if he doesn’t pen an extension.

This is why the Rossoneri believe €6m to be a fair offer and have no intention of raising their proposal any more than that.

Santos are resisting and hope to spark a bidding war, which Juventus could well participate in, setting the price-tag at €10m.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Bianconeri are asking for information on the situation and preparing an offer of their own.

Milan believe that they have agreed terms with Kaio Jorge and can wait for him to become a free agent in January rather than get involved in a transfer battle.

The striker will turn 20 in January and has six goals in 10 games for the Brazil Under-17 squad.
