Milan eye Traore rather than overpriced Pulisic

Milan consider Christian Pulisic vastly over-priced by Chelsea, so are reportedly in talks with Adama Traore from Wolves and Lazio striker Luka Romero, who are both free agents.

The Rossoneri had been hoping for a double deal with the Stamford Bridge side, having agreed the transfer of Ruben Loftus-Cheek for over €20m, as he is expected in Italy this evening for a medical.

However, Sky Sport Italia note that the asking price for USMNT forward Pulisic has been placed at €20m, which Milan consider far too much for a player who has struggled for playing time and whose contract is due to expire next summer.

Instead, the same source states they have approached Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Traore, who is a free agent as of July 1.

The former Barcelona man has eight senior caps for Spain and is known for his power and pace down the right flank, so would be a suitable mirror to Rafael Leao on the left.

He scored only three goals and provided two assists this season in 40 appearances for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

As already reported at the weekend, Milan are in advanced talks with Romero, who again has a Spanish passport and is a free agent after leaving Lazio.
