In his place, Emery has emerged as the prime candidate, and now according to Tuttosport, Milan are keeping him under observation.

It is speculated that the tactician has already been scouted by Diavolo officials, during Sevilla’s game against Villarreal on March 22, and now Berlusconi himself is asking for a dossier to evaluate him as a potential new Coach.

Emery is expected to come under further scrutiny from Milan during the final weeks of the season, including during the Europa League semi-final against Fiorentina.

The 43-year-old is under contract with the Rojiblancos until the summer of 2016, but may free himself for only €1m.
