Milan are reportedly considering making a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Hugo Ekitike, who is open to leaving the French capital after a difficult debut season.

The 21-year-old striker joined the Ligue 1 giants from Stade Reims last summer, spending the season on loan before his stay was made permanent for around €28.5m. He penned a four-year contract with the Parisians.

Ekitike struggled to show his best in Paris, limited to just 12 Ligue 1 starts. Across his 1154 league minutes, he netted three goals and provided four assists.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan coach Stefano Pioli and the club’s directors are both fans of Ekitike and are thinking about making a possible move this summer, needing to pick up a new striker.

For now, no talks have started with either the 21-year-old’s entourage nor PSG, but that could change in the coming weeks.

Milan are looking for a striker to complement Olivier Giroud, who is still the club’s main centre forward at the age of 36.
