La Gazzetta dello Sport takes stock of Milan’s interest in Christian Pulisic, suggesting that a new offer could be sent to Chelsea soon.

The 24-year-old American forward is on the way out of the Blues this summer as his contract expires next year, making this transfer window the last time to cash in on the winger.

Milan have set their sights on Pulisic but were left anxious after reports emerged that Olympique Lyon had out-bid them for the American, who in turn rejected the approach as he only wants to join the Rossoneri.

La Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanNews details how Pulisic has no intention of joining Lyon this summer and is now waiting for Milan to find an agreement with Chelsea.

The Rossoneri’s first offer was around €14-15m plus add-ons – the same amount as his last slice of amortisation at Chelsea. Lyon offered around €25m for the 24-year-old.

For the Blues, Milan’s proposal was too low but a compromise could be reached in the coming weeks and the new offer could be around €20-22m including add-ons.
