Everton have reportedly beaten Milan in the race to sign the Brazilian winger Bernard.
According to Sky Sports, Bernard will undergo a medical with Everton ‘in the next 24 hours’, while The Daily Mirror expects him to pen a five-year contract with the Toffees.
It comes despite Milan being labelled favourites for the 25-year-old, who is a free agent after leaving Shakhtar Donetsk.
Bernard, who represented his country at the 2014 World Cup, had also been linked with Inter, Chelsea and West Ham United.
