However, the deal appears to have stalled in recent days, potentially over a wage dispute, and Il Messaggero reports that Milan are looking to take advantage.
According to the newspaper, Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani has spoken to Aquile President Claudio Lotito, with the Diavolo willing to pay €25m.
Relations between the two clubs are good following Alessandro Matri’s free loan last season, but Finevest and the Chinese consortium which is looking to take over would have to approve the transfer.
