According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan’s hopes to sign Renato Sanches are still alive as PSG haven’t finalised the deal with Lille yet.

The Portugal international is the Rossoneri’s priority to replace Franck Kessié, who has joined Barcelona as a free agent.

PSG seemed to have jumped to the front of the queue for the former Bayern Munich starlet with an offer close to €30m.

Milan are unwilling to offer more than €18m, including bonuses, but have already reached a verbal agreement with the 24-year-old.

Lille President claimed last week that PSG haven’t yet tabled an official offer for Sanches and according to Sky Sport, Milan are still in the race.

The Rossoneri are not giving up and still hope to reach an agreement with the Ligue 1 side. Milan already failed to land Sven Botman from Lille, who eventually joined Newcastle United.

Milan announced Origi on a free transfer from Liverpool on Tuesday. The Belgian striker is the first summer signing for the Serie A champions.

  1. Oh he’s worth 30m. That’s his value despite his injury problems. Thing is, only a stupid club (aka PSG) would consider paying full price for a player with only one year remaining of his contract.
